Bruce Mcdowell

Mr. Bruce Wayne McDowell, 46, formerly of Sophia, NC, died Friday, December 14, 2012, at North Pointe of Archdale. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Smyrna Grove Community Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Johnson officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. McDowell was born July 15, 1966. He was the son of the late Cletus Junior McDowell and Mary Evelyn Rush McDowell. Mr. McDowell was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ray McDowell. Mr. McDowell is survived by his sisters, Susan M. Jarrett and Kim M. Flowers, both of Sophia, NC; several nieces and nephews; and CAP worker, Kathy Rumbold. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Randolph, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
