Bruce Allen Spencer

Bruce Allen Spencer, Jr., 63, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike McClure and Pastor Titus Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Bruce was born on August 7, 1956, in Randolph Co., to Bruce Allen Spencer Sr. and the late Blondell Chriscoe Spencer. He was a manager of Restoration Group of the Triad and a member of Life Impact Church of God of Prophecy.Bruce was a devout Christian who loved his Lord and Savior. He had a gentle soul. Bruce enjoyed fishing, panning for gold and forecasting the weather; he even became a certified weather spotter. He was an avid fan of the Carolina Panthers and the UNC Tarheels. Bruce loved the ocean and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Melissa Williams Spencer of the home; daughters, Dana Spencer Ward and husband Jonathan of Asheboro, Amber Spencer Shiflet and husband Daniel of Hickory; father, Bruce Allen Spencer Sr. and wife Ann of Asheboro; grandchildren, Gracie Ward, Carly Ward, Ryland Ward, Jett Ward, Rowen Shiflet, and Levi Shiflet. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020, and other times at the home of Dana and Jonathan Ward, 1514 McDaniel Drive, Asheboro.
