Brittany Jordan

Brittany Dawn Sechrist Jordan, 30, of Sophia, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Cross Road Baptist Church, 1566 Old Cox Road, Asheboro.

Brittany was born on July 3, 1995, in Guilford County. She was the activities director at Cross Road Retirement Community. She was a part of the Leadership Randolph team. Brittany had the biggest smile and the most loving heart. She never met a stranger and could bring the joy out of anyone.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Jordan; mother, Sharon Palmer; bonus mom, Lisa Edwards; bonus dad, Kenny Poplin (Fran); sister, Candice Outlaw (Christopher); stepbrothers, Alvin Edwards (Shelby), Wesley Poplin (Tammy); mother-in-law; Tammy Hughes; nephew, Thatcher; and her cherished pups, Mr. Marbles and Cheeseburger.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Sechrist; paternal grandparents, Ray and Ann Sechrist; and maternal grandfather, Lewis Ryals.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home.
