Brenda Gallimore

Brenda Gail Kennedy Gallimore, 69, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Worthville Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed on Ridge Funeral Home's offical Facebook page. Brenda was born on October 11, 1951, in Randolph County. She enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her father, Artis Kennedy; mother, Jacqueline Kennedy Freeman; stepfather, Joe Freeman; and brother, Bruce Kennedy. Brenda is survived by the daughter, Angela Auman; sister, Doris Kennedy Jones of Winston-Salem; brothers, Ronnie Kennedy, Steve Kennedy, C.W. Kennedy all of Asheboro; half brother, Carl Kennedy; half sister, Sylvia Kennedy; step brother, Randy Freeman of Asheboro; step sister, Shirley Sanders of Asheboro; granddaughter, Savannah Auman; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gallimore will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home.
