Brandon Darrell Jent

Mr. Brandon Darrell Jent, 29, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, in Myrtle Beach, SC. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with James Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Brandon was born August 11, 1985. He had worked as a roughneck on an oil rig. Brandon enjoyed fishing, hiking and NASCAR. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Donald Barrett and Frank Owens; and his uncle, Dale Jent. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Debra & Michael Hancock, of Asheboro, NC; father and stepmother, Darrell and Amor Jent, of Cheyenne, WY; sisters, Shannon Jent, of Wake Forest, NC, Megan Jent, Amber Jent, Emily Jent, Cheyenne Jent, Madelynn Jent, all of Cheyenne, WY; brothers, Bobby Jent, Dale E. Jent, Darrell Jent, III, all of Cheyenne, WY; stepsisters, Ashley Hancock, of Hamlet, NC, Misty Dillon, of Liberty, NC; stepbrother, Travis Hancock, of Asheboro, NC; maternal grandmother, Brenda Barrett, of Asheboro, NC; step grandmother, Paulette Parrish, of Wake Forest, NC; uncles, Billy Jent and Tim Barrett; best friend, Adrian Evans, of Cheyenne, WY; and all his friends at Nabors Drilling Rig #501, Rocky Mountain Divison in Wyoming.
