Bobby Lee Manring

Mr. Bobby Lee Manring, 66, of Asheboro, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at his home. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Wiley Boggs officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Forsyth County, NC, Mr. Manring was born April 21, 1948., the son of the late Arthur Lee and Mary Elizabeth Wolff Manring. He was a man of many talents who was musically gifted. He enjoyed fishing and gold prospecting. Mr. Manring had served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Manring is survived by his wife, Angela Manring, of the home; son, Mark Manring and wife, Tana, of Archdale, NC; sister, Shelby Sykes, of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren, Alicia Manring, Courtney Noah, Catelyn Noah; great grandchild, Levi Vaden; nephew, Timmy Hicks, of Sophia, NC; niece, Gina Kingsmore, of Winston-Salem, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
