Bobby Jones

Mr. Darius Robert "Bobby" Jones, 59, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, August 1, 2014, at his home. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, August 8, 2014, in the Chapel Mausoleum at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Stines officiating. A native of Hoke County, NC, Mr. Jones was born July 9, 1955. He graduated from East Montgomery High School and he received a degree in psychology from Sandhills Community College. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Darius Junior Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his long time companion, Brenda Haithcock, of Asheboro; mother, Margaret Jones Green, of Asheboro; daughter, Stacy McCorkle and husband, Gary, of Albemarle, NC; son, Chris Jones and wife, Sandy, of Troy, NC; sisters, Becky Pascal, of Florida, Kathy Hollingsworth and husband, James, of Asheboro, NC; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
