Bobby Jarrell

Mr. Eddie Lee "Bobby" Jarrell, 79, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at West Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Jarrell was born July 26, 1935. He was the son of the late Walter Franklin Jarrell and Alice Lamb Jarrell. Bobby loved hiking and being outdoors. He enjoyed drawing and painting. Mr. Jarrell is survived by his sister, Dorothy "Dot" Cagle and husband, Craig, of Asheboro, NC; half sister, Judy Lamar and husband, Mike, of Asheboro, NC; half brothers, Tommy Jarrell, Larry Jarrell, both of Asheboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
