Bobby R. Greene

Mr. Bobby Ray Greene, 85, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Fayetteville, NC, Mr. Greene was born January 3, 1927. He was the son of the late Henry "Crick"� Clifton Greene and Ruby Alma Davis Greene. He later moved to Montgomery County and was retired from Union Carbide. Mr. Greene served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Greene is survived by his wife, Esther Murray Greene; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
