Bobby Ray Freeman

Mr. Bobby Ray Freeman, 65, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, November 24, 2012, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Center Cross Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Copple and Carl Purvis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Montgomery County, NC, Mr. Freeman was born September 6, 1947. He was the son of the late Raymond Freeman and Mildred Correll Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a truck driver who drove for Caraway Furniture and Murrow's Transfer. He was a member of Center Cross Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Freeman Greeson and his beloved dog, Brach. Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jane Freeman, of the home; daughters, Tisha Wallace, Tammy Millikan and husband, Eddie, all of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Sue Nance, of Farmer, NC, Pam Ray, of Oak Ridge, NC; grandchildren, Eddie Millikan Jr., Bianca Millikan, Holly Millikan, all of Asheboro, NC; God grandchildren, Amy Hammer, Madison Hammer and Jason "Little Man"� Hammer. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, November 26, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
