Bobbie Davis

Bobbie Jean Mills Davis, 83, of Asheboro, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason officiating. A private burial will be held at New Hope Memorial Gardens. Born December 17, 1934 in Randolph County, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lois Mills. She graduated from Asheboro High School. Mrs. Davis was a member of Balfour Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing the piano. She retired from Randolph County Mental Health. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Farrell Davis; and a brother, Rodney Mills. Survivors include her daughter, Julia "Julie" Davis Brown and husband, Steve of Asheville; son, Ralph "Dave" Davis, Jr. and wife, Kim of Asheboro; grandchildren, Lacey Michelle Davis and Jackson Alexander Davis. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at Ridge Funeral Home, prior to the service and other times at the home.
