Billy Williams

Billy "Roy" Williams, 68, of Asheboro, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Hilltop Baptist Church in Asheboro, with Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Born in Harnett County, NC, on July 14, 1946, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Gerald Williams and Lydia Faircloth Williams. He retired from the NC Department of Transportation. Mr. Williams was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church and served in the US Navy during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by wife, Ruby Williams and brother, Graham Williams. Surviving are his daughter, Tina Seal and husband, David, of Asheboro; son, John Williams and wife, Michelle, of Asheboro; sister, Shelby Dean and husband, Harbert, of Bear Creek; grandchildren, Scotty Seal, Kirsten Seal Rangel and husband, Fernando, Summer Maness, Jeffery Maness; and great-grandchildren, Victoria Rangel, Rubicela Rangel and Ruben Rangel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro.
