Billy Roberts

Mr. Billy Ray Roberts, 57, of Seagrove, NC, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Trinity Wesleyan Church with Rev. George Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Seagrove. A native of Moore County, NC, Mr. Roberts was born February 2, 1957. He had worked at Klaussner Furniture for 40 years. He was a collector of a variety of items including knives and hats. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his father, William Elbert Roberts, brother, Kenneth Roberts, and sister, June Davis. Mr. Roberts is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Greene and husband, Doug, of Candor, NC; sons, John Roberts and wife, Rebecca, of Asheboro, NC, Billy Roberts, of Seagrove, NC; mother, Shirley Roberts, of Seagrove, N C; sister, Kathy Ferree, of Seagrove, NC; brothers, Michael Roberts, of Asheboro, NC, Danny Roberts, of Seagrove, NC; grandchildren, Emma Greene, Dakota Davis. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Trinity Wesleyan Church and other times at the home of his son, 715 Mountain View Church Road, Asheboro, NC.
