Billy Feather

Charles William "Billy" Feather, 69, of Asheboro, North Carolina, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, at his home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Michael Poindexter officiating.

Billy was born in Fulton Co., GA, on June 12, 1955, the son of the late Henry Feather and Juanita Haynes Feather. He worked for Byrd Auto Parts for 16 years. Billy enjoyed fishing and was a big fan of "Star Wars".

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Billy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wanda Feather of the home; daughter, Amanda Goss (Glenn) of Sophia; son, Adam Feather (Theresa Conner) of Seagrove; brothers, Arthur Feather of GA, Chris Feather of GA; grandchildren, Kayleigh Feather, Savannah Wilkins, Gage Greene, Cadence Adams, Piper Greene, Abel Greene, Noah Wilson, Kendall Goss; several nieces and nephews; and special extended family and friends including Robert Shelnutt of GA, Anthony Thompson of NC, Bobby Loggains of NC; and his sidekick, "Lucy".

The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM to 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 05, 2024, at Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service, and other times at the home of his daughter, 2743 Beckerdite Road, Sophia, NC 27350.
