Billy Carlton Coltrane

Billy Carlton Coltrane, 88, of Coleridge, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, 908 Albemarle Road, Asheboro, with Pastor Brandon Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Born on February 23, 1938, in Randolph County, NC, Billy was the son of the late Troy Allen Coltrane and Irene Margaret Overman Coltrane. He honorably served in the US Navy and was the retired owner and operator of Billy's Drywall. Billy was a member of First Christian Church in Ramseur.

Billy is survived by his loving family.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, at Ridge Funeral Home, prior to the service.
