Bill H. Alexander

Mr. Billie Horace Alexander, 78, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Troy. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Caddo County, OK, Mr. Alexander was born August 9, 1933. He was the son of the late Horace Newton Alexander and Mary Anges Lowery Alexander. Mr. Alexander was retired from Evergreen Feed and he served in the US Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Alexander, his granddaughter, Kimberly, and his stepson, Michael Hicks. Mr. Alexander is survived by son, Tommy Alexander, wife Debbie, of Statesville, NC; stepson, David Hicks, of Asheboro; sister, Bernice Liticker, of El Reno, OK; brother, Truman Alexander, of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Melissa Alexander, Brian Alexander, Brandon Hicks, Allison Hicks, Michelle Castle, David Hicks, Anita Hicks; and 15 great grandchildren, including, Nikki. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
