Mrs. Betty Lee Spicer Lawrence, 84, of Destin, FL, formerly of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Destin Healthcare & Rehab Center in Destin, Florida. A native of Grove, OK, Mrs. Lawrence was born March 13, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Clem Hayden Spicer and Eula Vea Brown Spicer. She graduated from Grove High School in Grove, Oklahoma and attended A&M College (now OSU). She was the retired owner/operator of Lawrence Tropical Fish. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Flag Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "J.L."� Lester Lawrence and son, Charles Leroy Lawrence. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Barry Queen officiating.
