Betty Inman Johnson

Mrs. Betty Lois Inman Johnson, 84, of Randleman, NC, died Friday, September 26, 2014, at the Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Monday, September 29, 2014, at Sophia Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Surry County, Mrs. Johnson was born October 19, 1929. She was the daughter of the late John Ira Inman and Hessie Mae Bennett Inman. She was a homemaker and a member of Sophia Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, H. Reece Johnson and brother, Bobby Inman. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Herbert Johnson and wife, Judy, of Asheboro, Howard Johnson and wife, Rachel, of Asheboro, Curtis Johnson and wife, Ruth, of Randleman; sisters, Lottie Stevenson, of Asheboro, Ruth McElreath, of Asheboro, Doris Frazier, of High Point, Frances King and husband, Curley, of Archdale; brother, John Inman and wife, Grace, of Randleman; grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Tamara Owen, Kevin Johnson, Chad Johnson, Donny Johnson, Lisa Davis; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
