Betty James

Betty Lou Kindley James, 78, of Asheboro, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Reeder officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mrs. James was born October 7, 1939 in Randolph County. She graduated from Gray's Chapel High School in 1959 and retired from Teleflex. Mrs. James loved her families, friends and her granddog, Winnie. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ora Mae Kindley; and her brother, Michael Kindley. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Owens and husband, David of Asheboro; sisters, Peggy Smith Wick of Asheboro, Frances Oney of Ft. Meyers, FL, Wilma Kindley of Greensboro, Cecilia Redd and husband, Robert of Lexington; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
