Betty Jo Hogan

Betty Jo Cagle Hogan, 85, of Asheboro, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at Alpine Health and Rehabilitation in Asheboro.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Pisgah Church, Asheboro, where she was a lifetime member, with Rev. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Randolph Co., on August 23, 1940, Mrs. Hogan was the daughter of the late Howard D. and Ora Ann Kearns Cagle. She was very active in the church, singing in the choir for many years and participating in the ladies group. She was a great cook, and enjoyed cooking for everyone. The most important part of her life was her family. They meant everything to her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hogan, and sister, Susie Faircloth.

Survivors: include her daughter, Donna Teel (Harold), Karen Cabaniss (Garry), Kim Lucas (Bruce); sons, Jeff Hogan (Lori), Milton Hogan (Jennifer); sister, Peggy McCaslin; brothers, Jimmy Cagle, Sonny Cagle; grandchildren, Maggie Parrish (Christian), Molly Teel, Wyatt Teel, Aaron Cabaniss, Hunter Hogan (Anna), Corey Hogan (Mariah), Zach Hogan (Katelyn), Levi Hogan, Tyler Lucas (Hannah), Jonathan Wilson, Kaitlyn Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson; great grandchildren, Asher Hogan, and Lainey Parrish.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro.
