Betty Lou Farmer Bullins, 79, of Asheboro, died Friday, September 11, 2020, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Randolph Memorial Park with Pastor Ronnie Bullins officiating. Betty was born on July 27, 1941, in Rockingham Co., to the late Samuel Roy Farmer and Katherine Bullins Farmer. She loved to go fishing, shopping, yard sales, and going to the beach. Betty was known to be a wonderful cook, and a loving and headstrong woman. Betty also adored her dog "Snappy". In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bullins, and daughter, Kathy Cross. Surviving are daughters,Tina Morris and husband Robbie of Level Cross, Judy Bullins Goolsby and husband Robbie of Eden; sons, Sammy Roland Bullins and fiancée Lisa Collins of Asheboro, Steve Sands and fiancée Deloris Bell of Asheboro, Harry Bullins and wife Christina of Mayodan; son-in-law, Jody Cross of Asheboro; sisters, Peggy Ferris of VA; Gaynell Mabe of Stoneville, Lorina Goolsby of Stokesdale; brothers, Clay Farmer of Randleman, Earl Farmer of Asheboro, Robert Farmer of Black Ankle; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. The body will lie in state at Ridge Funeral Home from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020, and the family will receive friends following from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the home.
