Benson Elliott

Mr. William Benson Elliott, 74, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at the Randolph Hospice House. A private memorial service will be held. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Elliott was born November 7, 1939. He was the son of the late Travis Harrison Elliott and Agnes Elizabeth Bunting Elliott. He retired from Klaussner Furniture. Mr. Elliott was an avid outdoorsman, deer hunter, bird watcher, fisherman and nature observer. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Lloyd Elliott and Cotton Elliott. Mr. Elliott is survived by his daughters, Tammy Elliott Dunn, of Sanford, NC, Vicki Elliott Hyatt and husband, Jeff, of Franklinville, NC; brother, Sidney Elliott, of Asheboro, NC; and grandchildren, Derick Hamilton, of Chicago, IL, Cameron Dunn, of Greensboro, NC, Megan Hyatt, of Franklinville, NC, and Samantha Hyatt, of Franklinville, NC.
