Mr. Ben Howard Davis, 80, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, August 1, 2012, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Davis was born August 3, 1931. He was the son of the late Rober Lester Davis and Elbie Florence Kearns Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Oakwood Park Baptist Church and retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation. Mr. Davis served in the US Army during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wade Davis and sister, Edna Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Rozine Hurley Davis, of the home; daughters, Denise Beane Williams, of Asheboro, NC, Ginger D. McClellan, of Dale City, VA; grandchildren, Jeremy Beane and wife, Tonya, Melissa Johnson and husband, Keith; great grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Levi Johnson, Bethany Beane, and Lydia Beane. The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
