Beatrice Hackler Nance, 91, of Asheboro, died Saturday, January 1, 2022 at High Point Medical Center in High Point. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Cool Springs Baptist Church, Franklinville, where she was a member, with Pastor John Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Nance was born in Rockwood, TN, on September 16, 1930, the daughter of the late William and Elsie Lawson Hackler. She was retired from Kayser-Roth Hosiery. She loved fishing, going to the beach, and flowers. In addition to her parents Mrs. Nance was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Nance, and siblings, Ed Hackler, Bobby Hackler, Walter Hackler, Rose Lee Harold, and Betty Brogdon. Survivors include her children, Margaret Beasley (Michael), Lonnie Yonce (Patt), Jerry Yonce (Loretta); sisters, Hazel Fredrick, Loretta Pelfrey; grandchildren, Brad Hill (Carol), Jason Beasley, Brittany Garren (Todd), Kara Lamb, Meredith Yonce, Tristan Yonce (Hillary), Felicia Yonce; and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to CUOC, 930 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
