Barry "B.T." Rogers

Barry “B.T.” Theldon Rogers, 52, of Asheboro, died Monday, January 11, 2021, at Moses H. Cone Hospital, in Greensboro. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be livestreamed on Ridge Funeral Home’s official Facebook page. B.T. was born on September 17, 1968, he was a native of Davidson County. He enjoyed traveling and liked to talk. He was known to have never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Bartrug; brothers, Steven Rogers; and son, Steven Gathings. He is survived by wife, Christy Rogers; sons, Michael Gathings, Jacob Cox, Travis Martin; daughters, Kyndell Buzzard and husband Jesse, Allison Cox, Brittany Cox; father, Barry Rogers; stepmom, Geraldine Rogers; sisters, Amanda Everhart, Mona Griffin; brothers, Ricky Carter, Jimmy Carter; two grandsons, one granddaughter; many nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends following the service at the home.
