Barbara Perryman Skeen

Mrs. Barbara Ann Perryman Skeen, 73, of Asheboro, NC, stepped over into Glory, to be with, Jesus our Lord and Savior on July 7, 2013. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Ashley officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Davidson County, NC, Mrs. Skeen was born July 17, 1939 to the late Webster Gilmer Perryman and Ruth Stevens Perryman. She was a member of Liberty Road Baptist Church and loved her children and grandchildren. She also loved animals and the beach. Mrs. Skeen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Skeen; son, Thomas W. Skeen; and grandson, Thomas Wayne Hall. Mrs. Skeen is survived by son, Timothy E. Skeen, Sr. and wife, Mary; daughters, Debra Hall, Sherri Johnson, Linda Reeder, Tammi Brown and husband, Greg; brother, John Perryman and wife, Pat; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home.
