Barbara Miller Richardson

April 30, 1933 — January 9, 2020

Barbara Jean Miller Richardson, 86, of Asheboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro. Barbara was born on April 30, 1933, in Randolph Co. to the late Samuel Wesley Miller and Mary Mozelle Frazier Miller. Barbara was a kind and loving person who had a "heart of gold". She was always helping others over her own needs. She treated others equally and loved people of any diversity. Barbara enjoyed reading the Bible and was very witty and happy. She was always looking beyond the bad to find the good in everybody. She worked many jobs including, Lowes Hardware, Tractor Supply and her favorite job, being a waitress. Barbara will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents was proceeded in death by her sons, Samuel Paul Jarrett and Cletis O'Neil Jarrett; and sister, Rebecca Mitchell. She is survived by her son, Bobby L. Jarrett and Sydney DeLoria of Ramseur; daughter, Cynthia Gay Jarrett of Asheboro; grandson, Jeffery "Jeff" Ray Jarrett of Sophia; a beautiful great granddaughter, Madison Nicole Jarrett; special family, Susan Jarrett of Archdale, Dana Frye McNeil and husband Roger; nephews and nieces, Patty, Joey, and Sherry. Barbara wishes were for no services to be held. The family will receive friends at Bobby and Sydney's home on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Randolph SPCA, 300 W.
