Barbara Otto

Barbara Mazora Otto, age 77, of Asheboro, passed away in the early morning on November 29, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. She was surrounded by her family. Barbara grew up in Union Town, PA and eventually moved to Cleveland, OH, where she retired after working at Gotham Staple. She enjoyed cooking, antiques, and spending time with her grandchildren and sisters, who were unstoppable when together. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie Cobert, Dana Cobert, Sonny Cobert, Brian Cobert; and her former husband, John Joseph Otto. Surviving are her son, Craig Otto and his children, Sydney and Trevor Otto, all of Newbury, OH; daughter, Kim Olson and her husband, Brian and their children, Kayla, Connor and Emily Olson, all of Naperville, IL; daughter, Terri Khan and her husband, Dr. Jaber Khan, and their children, Abbigail, Aidan, and Ella Khan, all of Asheboro; son, Brian Otto, of Asheboro. She is also survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn Cobert Korb, of Chagrin Falls, OH, Cheryl Gearing, of Medina, OH, Perrie Metcalf, of Linfield, PA, Rebecca Beran, of Parma, OH; and brother, Gary Cobert, of Rices Landing, PA.
