Barbara Ann Mroczkowski

Barbara Anne Fields Mroczkowski, 82, died at Randolph Hospital on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Barbara was born on May 22, 1938 in Greensboro, NC, to Ray and Anne Fields. She graduated from Grays Chapel High School in 1956. She met her husband, John Mroczkowski at a District Convention in Washington, D.C.. They later were married at the Liberty Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in NC, on July 8, 1961. She worked with R.C.S. and the Joblink Center at Randolph Community College. After retirement she continued in her full time ministry as a Jehovah's Witness. She was a mother to 4, grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 2, all who she loved dearly. She loved to sing, dance, cook, travel and host her family and friends in her home. She enjoyed gardening and managing her home with her husband, John. Most of all, she loved worshipping her God, Jehovah and teaching others about him. She was an amazing woman full of grace and class that touched everyone she met. She was eager to help others in any way she could, generous of her time, resources and love. She had a remarkable amount of positive energy and a real zest for life. Her family adored her as their wife, mother, mommom and sister. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Anne Fields. Also, by her sister, Martha Sue Wishneski. She is survived in death by her husband John Mroczkowski, of Asheboro, NC; her brother Ray Fields, Jr and wife Carolyn, of Randleman, NC; her brother Charles Fields and wife Joanne, of Thomaston, ME; her sister Mary Lou Strain and husband Lanny, of Asheboro; and brother Robert Fields and wife Judy, of Asheboro, NC. Barbara was survived by her son Timothy Mroczkowski and wife Phoebe, of Asheboro, NC, her daughter Tamera Thomas of Asheboro, NC, her son Jason Mroczkowski and wife Angela, of Asheboro, NC, and son Nathan Mroczkowski and wife Stacy of Thomasville, NC. Also surviving are her grandchildren Brittany Roman and husband Steve, Zach Mroczkowski, Bryan Mroczkowski, Michael Carter and wife Pati, Brielle Davis and husband Hal, Meghan Shagoury and husband Andrew, Jonathan Mroczkowski, Dylan Mroczkowski, Matthew Mroczkowski, all of Asheboro, NC, Jacob Mroczkowski and Jesse Mroczkowski, both of Thomasville, NC. She was also great grandmother to Carter Ruiz and Arizona Shagoury, both of Asheboro, NC. This is not to mention the many cousins, nephews and nieces who survive her. A memorial service will be held at a later date via Zoom.
