Barbara Madison Mintz

Mrs. Barbara Ann Madison Mintz, 63, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop J. Harold Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Essex County, NJ, Mrs. Mintz was born September 16, 1949. She was the daughter of Louise Johnson Jarmon and the late William Jarmon. She retired from Bell Telephone in New Jersey and loved music. In addition to her father, Mrs. Mintz was preceded in death by her brothers, Lester Jarmon, Dexter Jarmon, Ronnald Jarmon, and Keith Jarmon. Mrs. Mintz, in addition to her mother, is survived by her husband, Murry C. Mintz, of NJ; daughter, Lorri Navarro, of NJ; son, Larry Madison , of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Deborah Jarmon, of Linden, NJ, Cheryl Jarmon, of Linden, NJ, Sharon Thomas, of Plainfield, NJ, Lynne Jarmon, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Kevin Jarmon, of White Hall, PA, Kim Jarmon, of Asheboro, NC; and grandchildren, Ayanna Thomas and Nia Thomas. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home.
