Barbara Bunting Maness

Barbara Jean Bunting Maness, of Asheboro, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro. A graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Asheboro. Born in Randolph County, Mrs. Maness was the daughter of the late Reggie Hicks Bunting and Susan Ellen Willard Bunting. She was retired from Black & Decker and she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Surviving are her sisters, Shelby A. Byrd and husband, Maxton, Brenda Williams, all of Asheboro; brothers, Paul Bunting, Jerry Bunting and wife, Brenda, all of Asheboro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Haynes Maness; sister, Linda Bunting; and brothers, Larry Bunting and Wally Bunting. The family will recieve friends following the graveside service. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 148 Drum Street, Asheboro, NC 27205.
