Barbara Jean Wilson

Mrs. Barbara Jean Schrimsher Wilson, 80, of Ramseur, NC, died Friday, August 23, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Asheboro Seventh-day Adventist with Elder Ron Rogers officiating. Entombment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in High Point. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mrs. Wilson was born December 14, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Mayberry Schrimsher and Mary Grace Stephenson Schrimsher. She was a very hard worker and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Wilson and Eddie Jackson; daughter, Mona Wilson; and granddaughter, Kimberly Croker. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Sue Shaw, of Ramseur, NC, Sandra Norris, of Asheboro, NC, Judy Wilson, of Seagrove, NC, Karen Johnson, of Asheboro, NC; son, Richard Wilson, of Denton, NC; brother, Joe Schrimsher, of Orlando, FL; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Asheboro Seventh-day Adventist.
