Audrey M. Henson

Mrs. Audrey Lou Massey Henson, 75, of Denton, NC, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at her daughter, Melinda's, residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, May 13, 2011, at Science Hill Friends Meeting with the Rev. Michael Fulp officiating. Burial will follow in the meeting cemetery. A native of the Big Pine Community of Madison County, NC, Mrs. Henson was born June 15, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Massey and Kate Payne Massey. She was the co-owner of Tom's Creek Nursery and a member of Science Hill Friends Meeting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Henson. Mrs. Henson is survived by her daughters, Melinda Vaughan and husband, Steve, Rebecca Henson and husband, Ron Bulla, all of Farmer, NC; son, Rodney D. Henson, of Farmer, NC; sister, Eileen Hicks, of Sanford, NC; grandchildren, Aaron Vaughan and wife, Leire, Brandon Vaughan and wife, Pieng, Hampton Vaughan, all of Farmer, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall at Science Hill Friends Meeting.
