Audrey Faye Hiatt Alexander, 74, of Asheboro, NC, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1109 McDowell Road, Asheboro, with Bishop Nathan Swensen officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Asheboro.
Born October 23, 1951, in Guilford County, NC, Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of the late Leonard and Geneva Presnell Hiatt. She had a special love for Jesus Christ, and spent many hours studying scriptures. She was a good steward, and took pride in taking care of what she had. A true lady, Mrs. Alexander took special care of her appearance in her dressing and her hair. Her personality had a way of connecting with people. Walking through her flower garden, going for rides with her husband around town in her favorite car, and admiring pretty things like pictures, pottery, and antique furniture were ways she enjoyed her spare time.
Survivors: husband of 53 years, Daryl Alexander; sons, Keith Alexander, Chris Alexander (Andrea); brother, Willard Hiatt (Teresa); grandchildren, Ryan Alexander, Whitney Alexander, Ethan Alexander; and special friends, Doug and Maryellen Harris, Gordon and Kathy Jenkins, and Roger and Debbie Johnson.
