Ashley S. Fetner

Ashley Stewart Fetner, 80, of Asheboro, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at his home.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Cross Road Baptist Church, Asheboro, with Pastor Justin Curry and Pastor Rob Burns officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Christian Life Center.

Born on July 22, 1945, in Richmond County, NC, Ashley was the son of the late Ross Harding Fetner and Elizabeth Stevens Stewart Fetner. Ashley graduated from Randolph Community College where he studied photography and would later become and instructor there. While in Columbia, SC, he was the owner and operator of Ashley Fetner Photography. Ashley was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church in Asheboro.

Surviving are his wife, Kay McCall Fetner of the home, son, Aaron Heath Fetner (Maelanie) of Apex, and brother-in-law, Chris McCall (Janice) of Rougemont, NC.
