Ann Adams Smith

Ann Rogers Adams Smith, 66, of Asheboro, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Smith officiating. Born in Durham, NC on May 14, 1950, Ann was the daughter of the late Aubrey Reynolds Adams and Addie Lee Teele Adams. She had worked at Valassis Inserts in Durham. She enjoyed making jewelry, baskets, wood burning and working with her flowers. Ann loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Alton Smith, of the home; daughters, Kelly Brewer (David) of Stovall, NC, Ann Marie Evans (Lamont) of Asheboro, Tammi Perez (Heriberto Mancinas) of Asheboro; sons, Neil Baldwin (Lisa Jackson) of Roxboro, NC, Matthew Smith (Christine) of Denton, Stephen Smith (Stephanie) of Valdese, NC; sister, Cheryl Adams Dempsey (Patrick) of Pinedale, AZ; brother, James Adams of Butner, NC; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Wednesday at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
