Ann Overman

Mrs. Annie Lou Burrow Overman, 77, of 3912 US Highway 64 East, died Monday, November 15, 2010, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Reece and the Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Overman was born February 13, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Cannie Burrow and Annie Nan York Burrow. She was retired from General Electric / Black & Decker after 42 years of service and was affiliated with Back Creek Friends Meeting. She loved spending time at her summer home at Carolina Beach. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Overman is survived by her husband, Wayne M. Overman, of the home; son, Tony Cox and wife, Debbie, of Asheboro, NC; step daughter, Rhonda Odom and husband, Ben, of Asheboro, NC; step son, Wayne T. Overman, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Tosha Franklin and husband, Mike, Jamie Cox and wife, Ashley, Devin Cox; step grandchild, Brian Moss and wife, Karen, Allison Overman, Taylor Overman; four great grandchildren; brothers, Winfred Burrow, of Franklinville, Ike Burrow, of Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
