Ann Davis

Mrs. Ann Marie Jones Davis, 70, of Seagrove, NC, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2014, at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church, Asheboro, NC, with Dr. Bruce Dickerson and Rev. Bud Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, NC. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Davis was born May 26, 1944, the daughter of the late Dewey and Agnes Lisk Jones. She was an active member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher, children's church worker and involved in Vacation Bible School. She had worked at Ithaca Hosiery in Robbins, NC, and Acme-McCrary Corporation. She was always involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Eddie M. Davis, of the home; daughters, Nancy Davis Bullins, of Seagrove, NC, Deborah Davis Coggeshall and husband, Bert, of Coventry, CT; son, Mark Randall Davis and wife, Rhonda, of Climax, NC; sister, Brenda Jones Adkins Floyd and husband, Grayson, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Joshua Barker and wife, Kayla, Herb Coggeshall III, Jennifer Coggeshall, Andrew Davis, Brooke Davis, Meredith Davis; aunt, Ruth Lisk Greene, of Troy, NC. She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Dowd, and her brother, Dewey Jones, Jr. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church, Asheboro, NC, and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204, in lieu of flowers if desired.
