Andrew Orion Trogdon, 5, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, July 13, 2013. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Alston and Rev. Dean Pollard officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Andrew was born January 14, 2008. Andrew enjoyed Angry Birds, dinosaurs, Star Wars, playing with Leapsters, going to the zoo and playing in the park with his brother, Logan. Andrew is survived by his father, Adam Trogdon, of Asheboro; mother, Sherrie Hurley and fiancé, Joshua Saunders, of Asheboro; paternal grandparents, Gary and Julia Trogdon, of Asheboro, NC; maternal grandfather, Thomas Hurley, of Asheboro, NC; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Nelson and husband, Randy, of Robbins, NC; great grandmothers, Loretta McMasters, of Franklinville, NC, Rosie Hurley, of Asheboro, NC; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hayworth, of Asheboro, NC; uncles, John Hurley, of Robbins, NC, Alan Trogdon and wife, Desiree, of Asheboro, NC; aunts, Kelly Brown and husband, Travis, of Asheboro, NC, Andrea Wilson and husband, Josh, of Rutherford, NC; cousins, Michelle Brown, Ezra Trogdon, Aaron Briles, Colby Wilson and Olivia Wilson.
