Alton Garner

Alton Farrell "Bowzer" Garner, 63, of Seagrove, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at New Center Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Garner was born September 6, 1952 to the late Farrell and Maie Garner. He attended New Center Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Alton Farrell Garner, II and Timothy Alton Garner. Mr. Garner is survived by his wife, Frances Garner of the home; daughter, Katie Garner of the home; son, Thomas Farrell Garner of the home; sisters, Judy Green of Candor, Cindy Garner of Robbins; brother, Garrett Garner of Seagrove; and granddaughter, Aurbee Nicole Foster. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the service.
