Alma Cromer Cooper

Alma "Mema" Cromer Cooper, 77, of Asheboro, died with a beautiful smile on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hilltop Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Cooper was born October 11, 1937 to the late Carl and Jenny Carter Cromer. She was retired from Nantucket Hosiery and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents she was prceded in death by her husband, June Cooper; sisters, Shirley Zenner, Susan Whitt; and brother, David Cromer. She is suvrived by her daughters, Sandra Brim Roberts of Asheboro, Karen B. Richardson and husband, Wayne of Asheboro; son, Wayne Cooper of Asheboro;,grandchildren, Donny Yow, Danny Lineberry, Keith Chriscoe, Alan Richardson, Caleb Cooper, Bailey Cooper; and great-grandchildren, Corey Lineberry, Peyton Yow, Camryn Yow and Adelyn Yow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 1896 Spero Rd., Asheboro, NC.
