Allene Yow

Allene Pierce Little Yow, 89, of Asheboro, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Beane officiating. Burial will follow at High Pine Wesleyan Church Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Yow was born November 14, 1926 to the late Frank and Nancy Pierce. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Bill" Little; daughter, Barbara Jean Little; son, Tony Douglas Little; and second husband, Cecil Yow. Mrs. Yow is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Graves and husband, Johnny of Asheboro; sons, Roger Little and wife, Glenda of Seagrove, Jerry Little of Seagrove; sisters, Frances P. Tesh of Asheboro, Ina Mae Hill of Thomasville; grandchildren, Doug Brown (Amanda), Chad Brown (Kim), Karla Rush (Brandunn), Scot Little (Tracy), Chrissy Neelon (Chris), Suzanne Bryant (Jonathon); great-grandchildren, Amber Brown, Fallon Brown, Tanner Brown, Nick Brown, Scottlyn Rush, Kardunn Rush, Scout Rush, Emma Little, Cora Little, William Smith, Skyla Neelon, Brayson Neelon, Colton Bryant, and Ellie Bryant. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home.
