Allene Jarvis

Allene Hill Jarvis, 99, of Sanford, NC, died Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

Born August 5, 1926, in Randolph Co., NC, Mrs. Jarvis was the daughter of the late Virgil Hill and Bertha Trotter Hill. She was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother, who was dedicated to her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jarvis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Jarvis.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hughes and husband, Robert; grandchildren, R. Knox Hughes, Jr., and wife Pamela, Jonathan Hughes and wife Becky; great grandchildren, Zachery Hughes and wife Llala, Joshua Hughes, Robert "Trip" Knox Hughes, III, Holden Hughes; great-great grandchildren, Camden Hughes, Brooks Hughes; and a large extended family.
