Allen Jay Leach

Mr. Allen Jay Leach, Sr., 80, of Randleman, NC, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, June 8, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kearns officiating. A native of Brayton, GA, Mr. Leach was born March 10, 1932. He was the son of the late Ned Leach and Pauline Leach Toliver. He was a member of Greater St. John's Baptist Church, where he was a trustee, usher and sang in the JFK Choir. In addition to his parents, Mr. Leach was preceded in death by his sister, Gladys Alexander, and three brothers, Edward Leach, Otis Leach and Raymond Leach. Mr. Leach is survived by his wife, Bessie Shaw Leach, of the home; children, Mary Jefferson, of Stafford, VA, Allen Leach, Jr., of Pavilion, NY, Randy Leach, of Stafford, NY, David Leach, of LeRoy, NY, Kevin Leach, of Pavilion, NY, Jeff Leach, of Batavia, NY, Helen Leach, of Rochester, NY, Mike Leach, of Pavilion, NY; step children, Cathy Ann Shaw, Annie Davidson, both of Atlanta, GA, Joe Hicks and wife, Obbie, of Richmond, VA, Dwayne Hicks and wife, Michelle, of Ocean City, MD, Calvin Hicks and wife, Sherry, Felicia Algarin and husband, Rico, all of Prattsburg, NY, Darryle Drew and wife, Kim, of Doniphan, MO; 29 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 10:00 "� 11:00 am Friday, June 8, 2012, and other times at the home of Joel and Angela Brown, 1776 New Salem Road, Randleman, NC.
