Alice Morgan Holloway

Alice Morgan Holloway, 86, of Cross Road Retirement Village, Asheboro, died peacefully Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Alice was born on January 15, 1934, in Randolph County. She was the youngest daughter of Leslie H. and Lois D. Morgan of Asheboro. Alice was a 1952 graduate of Asheboro High School, a lifelong Methodist, and Republican. She loved teaching children and youth and doing mission work through her church. Alice is survived by her husband of 60 years, William V. Holloway; daughter, Emily Moss of Browns Summit, NC; son, Jon Holloway and wife Jennifer of Asheboro; sisters, Peggy Foust and husband Paul and Jane Layne, both of Asheboro; and two special friends, Michael Hanson and Billy Williams, also of Asheboro.
