Alice Foster Harrelson

Mrs. Alice Lee Foster Harrelson, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, November 29, 2013, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Brian Hauk officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Harrelson was born April 15, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Herbert James Foster and Nora Hoover Foster. Mrs. Harrelson was a very loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She gave unconditional love and especially loved Christmas. She would always be the one to say blessings and prayers. She was also a member of Mt. View Independent Methodist Church. Mrs. Harrelson is survived by her husband, Clarence Harrelson, of the home; daughter, Linda S. Williams, of Asheboro; step-daughters, Nina Farlow, of Sophia, Deborah Yow, of Seagrove, Cynthia Kidd, Angie Luffman, both of Asheboro; sisters, Beulah McMasters, of Ramseur, Betty Phillips, Margaret Foster, Nancy Wright, all of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
