Agnes Gray Keeling

Mrs. Agnes Millicent Gray Keeling, 99, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, December 9, 2011, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 12, 2011, at New Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Neil Crowell and Rev. George Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Keeling was born July 2, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Sarah Jane Cooper Gray and the late Robert Lee Gray. Mrs. Keeling was a member of New Union United Methodist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Keeling was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Keeling, her daughter, Betty Love, and her sisters, Annie Davidson and Margaret Morris. Mrs. Keeling is survived by daughters, Norma Keeling Kennedy and husband, Gilbert, Carol Keeling Rose, Linda Keeling, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Debbie Freeman, Cindy Pierce and husband, Tony, Pam Saia and husband, Joe, all of Asheboro, Kim Stump and husband, Tim, of Charlotte, Jeff Rose and wife, Lisa, of Cheyenne, WY; great grandchildren, Robert Nelson and wife, Rebecca, Matthew Nelson, Morgan Caviness and husband, Cody, Stuart Elizabeth Stump, Bo Stump, Madeline Martinez and husband, Thomas, Zachary Rose; and great-great grandchildren, Maelea Martinez, Gabriel Martinez and Skylar Caviness. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
