Richard Craig "Ricky" Lanier, Jr., 55, of Greensboro, NC, passed away February 18, 2024, at the Randolph Hospice House

A family graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Pastor Randy Lee officiating.

Richard was born on April 8, 1968 in Mecklenburg Co., NC.

He worked in the furniture upolstery business for over 30 years, and enjoyed anything to do with old cars.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynette Alice Lanier.

Richard is survived by his wife, Angie Lanier of the home; father, Richard Lanier Sr. (Rita) of Asheboro; mother, Faye Jankovich of Arizona; sisters, Donna Head (Scott) of Gallatin,TN, Ingrid Hunt (Scott) of Asheboro; mother and father in law, Jack and Shirley Goodwin of Greensboro; aunt, Diann Davis of Salisbury; uncle, Gene Hancock of Asheboro; and nieces & nephews.
