Pamela Saia

Mrs. Pamela Gail Kennedy Saia, 45, of Asheboro, NC, went home to be with her Lord on her 23rd wedding anniversary, Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Ryman officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Saia was born December 30, 1966. She was the beloved daughter of John Gilbert Kennedy and Norma Dale Kennedy. Mrs. Saia was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and employed at Ready Mart. She loved swimming, going to football games and NASCAR races, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed rides with Joe on his Harley. Mrs. Saia, in addition to her parents, is survived by her husband of 23 years, Joe Saia, of the home; sisters, Debbie Freeman, of Asheboro, NC, Cindy Pierce, and husband, Tony, of Asheboro, NC; mother-in-law, Nancy Saia, of Asheboro, NC; brother-in-law, Don Saia, and wife, Stephanie; sisters-in-law, Vickie Tomasco, and husband, Anthony, Sandy Rivell; aunts, Diane Smith, and husband Cecil, of Asheboro, NC, Linda Keeling, of Asheboro, NC, Carol Rose, of Asheboro, NC; nieces and nephews, Robbie Nelson, and wife, Becky, Matt Nelson, and wife, Katherine, Morgan Caviness, and husband, Cody, and their daughter, Sklyar, C.J. Rainey, and wife, Nolly, Shane Rainey, Jennifer Pomykala, and husband, Sean, Sandee Collazo, and fiancé, Pat, Albert Collazo, and wife, Kate, Jessica Simpson, and husband, Rob, Tony Tomasco; dogs, Dixie and A.J.; cat, Angel; several cousins, and many close friends that she loved very much. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
