Eldena Vickers

Eldena Vickers, 84, of Seagrove, NC, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Mamie Alley officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Born in Guilford County, NC on November 19, 1934, Eldena was the daughter of the late Robert Aron Vickers and Iris Leola Dunlap Vickers. She grew up and spent most of her life in Moore County and Randolph County. She graduated from Westmoore School and was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Robbins. She retired from Black and Decker, formerly General Electric. In addition to her parents, Ms. Vickers was preceded in death by her sister, Roberta Vickers. Surviving are her daughter, Ann Marie Musselwhite, of Seagrove; granddaughter, Shanna Musselwhite, grandson, Bradley Deaton, granddaughter, Nicole Rouse; great granddaughter, Maysen Dudley; son, Daris Deaton and wife, Inez, of Seagrove; and sister, Janice Ward, of Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, P.O.
